Race Day Essentials

Exhilarating, magnificent and fascinating. That basically sums up our suit collection for race day. Oh, and watching the horses is pretty exciting as well.

As we all know The Epsom Derby & Royal Ascot are arguably the biggest race events in the world so we’ll leave the best till last. If you’re attending any race day leading up to this we’ve got a collection of outfits that will make sure you look the business on the day. It’s courteous to either wear a suit or formal jacket paired with chinos to a racecourse. Unfortunately fancy dress is usually frowned upon. Trust us, they’re doing you a favour.

Here are a few outfits we’ve carefully selected to make you look dapper but also keep you comfortable for the full day out, no matter the weather.

Now we can address the main events; The Epsom Derby & Royal Ascot. In the Queens Stand for the Epsom Derby & the Royal Enclosure for Royal Ascot, gents must wear tails with top hats & ties; no cravats allowed. If you’re in the grandstands any of the outfits above are more than suitable. Morning suits including top hats are quite expensive to buy ready-to-wear so hiring is the norm. We have two-piece tails available to hire from £55 + £8.50 peace of mind assurance, keeping it super affordable. Again, we’ve carefully selected tail coats that will make you look ever so suave but keep you comfortable.

Full packages are available to order in-store or online, although orders with top hats must be collected from a store of your choice. 12th June is the cut off date for online orders but we’ll still have availability to hire in-store, in case you get a last minute ticket!

5 reasons why you need a new suit from us for Prom.

Not long to go until your Prom. Now we know most of you will be sensible enough to purchase a new suit because we all know you want to look your best like the lads in the picture above. But, there may be a few of you who don’t think you’ll need a new suit. Trust us, you do. Here’s 5 reasons why:

1. First thing’s first, you obviously don’t want to end up borrowing your Dad’s.

3. You’ll need to know how to wear a suit properly, that includes tying your tie and styling pocket your pocket square. Clearly young Wayne didn’t get much help here.
